This album is the first volume of a collection of early tracks from the band Vernian Process. These songs were all written before we were a full band.. All songs have been newly remixed and mastered for 2020. This project was one of the catalysts for the modern Steampunk music scene and online community.
Volume 2: "Before The Machine (2007-2009)", will feature songs that were in the works between 2006's out-of-print "The Forgotten Age" and 2010's "Behold The Machine". Mostly in collaboration with Martin Irigoyen, who met Josh in November of 2007.

Track #14 was written in memory of Colin Sharp, a former Post-Punk singer and friend from the UK who was collaborating on that song with me, when he passed away in 2009. He had dedicated it to his friends that had all passed such as Ian Curtis and Adrian Borland. Martin and I finally finished the song in late 2019, as part of a tribute release. Now here it is for all of our fans to enjoy. ~ Josh

I finally got to listen on The Expedition on the big stereo. And it sounds great! Crystal clear, big production. I love the Vangelis influences. Both Blade Runner and Albedo 0.39, which is awesome. The deep bass is exactly as it's supposed to be. Not overwhelming, but more like a statement. Great work!!
