"Of all the Christmas songs out there to cover, I've always wanted to cover this one. Sakamoto is a legendary composer, both as a solo artist and with his pioneering electronic project Yellow Magic Orchestra. The film this theme was written for is also a very unique slice of Christmas dreariness, starring both Sakamoto and David Bowie and set in a Japanese POW camp in the waning days of WWII. Definitely a highly recommended film by us. Thank you for listening to our take on this classic, and timeless song!"
