“La Solitude”, Vernian Process’ latest single from The Consequences of Time Travel, was inspired by Jules Verne’s “Paris in the XX Century”. This instrumental reimagines the future society envisioned by the French author, where the practical has completely displaced the beautiful. A future where art and human expression have been diminished into an embarrassment for the citizens of a sterile, dispassionate, and drab society. A society which has forgotten that beauty, kindness, and love are the maximum expressions of our own humanity.
